Green Hampshire was formed following an exchange of Tweets on Twitter by a group of volunteers who believe passionately in helping preserve and conserve the environment, both built and natural, for future generations.

Those behind the idea saw that there was a need to have a website where anyone wanting to volunteer their time could easily find out about projects they can contribute to at any times.

Some activities will be suitable for the family but others may require specialist skills or previous experience. Some activities may require booking with the organisers ahead of time but others may be happy to see volunteers just turn up on the day at the allotted time.
